Hello, I am Alain GREGOIRE a passionated Web Developer/Architect with solid knowledge in IT

I started my IT career as Analyst Programmer, where I had the opportunity to have an early start with the Java development world

Then I started my career at European Commission (EC)
I helped to grow the service from few WebLogic domains to over 2500 through automated procedures.
I started EC position in the ISHS DIGIT WEBLOGIC Service (team OPERATION) then became "team leader" of this service.
I have a proven experience with daily operation of critical mission and high-available systems in a large organisation, the EC Data Centre and have proven my ability to work in a demanding environment where time flexibility is mandatory.
I have proven experience in WebLogic architectures and administration.
I have gained knowledge of WLST (WebLogic Scripting Tool) as it is the main tool for deploying applications.
I have experience with migration from WebLogic v.9 to higher versions.
I have in depth knowledge of Unix and Linux based infrastructure services and I have also proven knowledge with Java Enterprise platform.
Since October 2007, I'm working in the team DIGIT ISHS BO JEE (architecture team).
This position includes assessing new version grant procedures that the team DIGIT ISHS WEBLOGIC will execute and automate recurring tasks.
We are working closely with DIGIT ISHS WEBLOGIC, the “Product Management” and officials.

For all these years I have acquired expertise that I put the profits of our customers as well as some renowned within this institution.

I’m an enthusiastic and enjoyable personality, who is solution driven and user-satisfaction oriented, with excellent communication skills.
I speak fluently French and English.
